Roof quick fix

Alan was so friendly, helpful and kind. He was so quick to get back to me ans came as promised, time and date as promised. Gave me a quick temporary fix of my roof seal for free and a ballpark figure for fixing this properly in the new year. Will DEFINITELY be calling him to come back to repair fully when Summer rolls round and so grateful to have a fix to get me through the rest of winter. LEGEND, 5 STARS!

Flat roof reboarding and replacement with liquid fiberglass

Excellent all round. Leak in the flat roof immediately ceased and Alan happily came back later to sort some minor cosmetic defects with the liquid-pour fiberglass and apply a darker and more aesthetically pleasing top coat at no extra cost. 10/10 all round, would definitely use again.

Exelent work from these professional and reliable who soon replaced my old felt roof for a new one. Ridge tiles also replaced fast and efficent and at the budget we agreed on. Would recomend highly to anyone in the near future. Verry tidy job. Exellent !!

Roof work

I have used Rainguard roofing twice now and would highly recommend Alan and his team . A couple of years ago, they replaced my roof's fascia, soffit, guttering and cladding, and this year they have repaired damage to my roof following all the storms we have had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, and have done so to my neighbours opposite who also had their fascia, soffits, guttering and cladding replaced by Rainguard.

Roof leak

Repaired a leak on our roof at a reasonable price after having 4 other roofers visit the property quoting £1000’s. Issue seems to be fixed (not had heavy rain since) but the solution offered seemed the best course of action and said would revisit if any problems within 12 months. Really friendly and advised of other potential repairs that may be needs and also took before and after photos. Will be contacting them again for any future repairs.

Roof leak from chimney/membrane

Alan was great at getting back to us. Trying to find a dry day was a bit of a problem but once the sun came out he was straight on it. Leak from chimney pointing and old membrane in roof. Showed the problem via photos on phone. Explains and shows fix. No drama since. Very polite. Good prices. And turns up when say he will! Can't ask for more. Defiantly recommend and will call again if needed.

Gutter replacement

Alan fitted our gutter around March 2023. The work was done very quickly and efficiently and he was particularly good on communication eg letting us know if he was running late. We had a leak in the same gutter this winter. Alan was very quick to respond to our message and to come and have a look, showing real ownership for his work. It turns out that the leak was nothing to do with what he had done previously, but he still fixed it and advised on what we should do to prevent similar things in future. Very impressed - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Reroofing

Alan and his team were punctual. Got on with work and worked solidly to make sure target for first day achieved before darkness They took off tiles old hessian underfelt and slats were replaced with a membrane and new slats. 2nd day tiles cleaned and put back again before dark and forecasted rain. Guys were polite. Tidied up and cleaned sills gutters and drive. Alan responded quickly to ensure customer requests met. He was very professional did feel his paperwork guarantee receipt and invoice looked as professional also.

Reroofing large semi bungalow

Rainguard arrived promptly were polite. Keen to get tiles off and old underfelt. Purchased and laid new membrane and all new slats in one day before rain. Was told all old hessian felt needed replacing was surprised some left on and covered over with new membrane. 2nd day old tiles were put back and cracked ones replaced. 3 lads worked hard to finish before it was dark They promised work was guaranted for 10 yrs, had to chase this. Once Invoice with paid it stamped then told it was receipt and with email stating these are the 10yr guarantee. Guarantee not adequate or professional

Repair to EPDM membrane flat roof.

Rang about leaking EPDM roof. Alan was on route to a job nearby, so called in went up to look and quote. Found a hole. Using materials from van he proceeded to make the repair there and then. Was very polite and professional. All told, repair completed an hour after first contact and at a very reasonable rate

Alan conducted repairs to my chimney and completed it quickly and well. He also managed to replace some chimney pots that may have been very hard to find. Leadwork repair on conservatory

Alan turned up to quote, unlike some others I contacted. He quoted me for the repair which seemed quite expensive but I was told it was for half a days work and I assumed the lead was going to be replaced. The job took them an hour in total, which included a 40 minute trip to pick up a new facia board that had been broken. The job was well done job but it was only a repair to the lead and not replacement (which was only an assumption on my part due to the price, not something Alan had told me). Taking all that into consideration the repair was very expensive.

Installation of roof air vents

The Rainguard team came to install some roof vents to resolve some issues were were having with condensation in our loft. Honestly I am insanely impressed by their quick and professional nature. We received a quote in December which was clear and competitive and then in January the work was completed in under 45 minutes! The guys were extremely polite and made every endeavor to avoid damaging the property and surrounding vehicles. Afterwards they went through the work completed and advised of their guarantee. I can't recommend Rainguard enough, absolutely stellar guys with a fab attitude!

Brand new garage roof + the fascia and guttering on the house

Superb from start to finish, the father and son team are courteous and polite from day one. Returned my phone calls for the quote straight away and gave me honest expert advice. Quality of workmanship is outstanding, they turned up when they said they would and a did an excellent job at a very high standard, while listening to our needs and respecting our wishes. May not be the cheapest but not that expensive either - what you do get is a very high-quality service that's value for your money and worth every penny. Leaking gutters which were brand new, fixing other companys poor work.

Alan (I hope I remembered correctly!) was very helpful. Assesed the situation, came up with solution. What's more important, he also said what will happen next in case it leaks again. With a clear plan and free of charge second appointment (which won't be needed) we agreed on price and the work was done SAME DAY. Amazing. We already had couple rainy days and the gutters are no longer leaking- my n-bour will be super happy as its at the joint with his gutters. 10/10

Replace a ridge tile

After my neighbour alerted us to a loose ridge tile on the roof which if it had slid o ff would of hit an expensive Velux window I contacted Alan of Rain Guard roofing who told me he would be here this afternoon and just after 2pm he had sorted the loose tile and repaired a cracked tile as well.
